And you were\u00c2\u00a0dead in the trespasses and sins\u00c2\u00a0in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in\u00c2\u00a0the sons of disobedience\u00e2\u20ac\u201d\u00c2\u00a0among whom we all once lived in\u00c2\u00a0the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body\u00c2\u00a0and the mind, and\u00c2\u00a0were by nature\u00c2\u00a0children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.\u00c2\u00a0But\u00c2\u00a0God, being\u00c2\u00a0rich in mercy,\u00c2\u00a0because of the great love with which he loved us,\u00c2\u00a0even when we were dead in our trespasses,\u00c2\u00a0made us alive together with Christ\u00e2\u20ac\u201d\u00c2\u00a0by grace you have been saved\u00e2\u20ac\u201d\u00c2\u00a0and raised us up with him and\u00c2\u00a0seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,\u00c2\u00a0so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable\u00c2\u00a0riches of his grace in\u00c2\u00a0kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.<\/p>\n
